Your a actually supposed to get on it an knee on the seat with only 1 strap on then use your foot to move the bottom up 4 to 6 inches an push down an cam in the 2ed strap that's per the company
My gen 7 barely fits on my xpedition mx16.
It's been a while, do you still have the RRXL and how's it been in actual use?
I do! Use it all the time I swapped put the strap for an actual ratchet strap though
@@OutdoorsObsessions great, yours remains the only video of it on whole youtube to this day. Why ratchet strap though? The attachment system is the big question for me as it is quite different from other options and now OOAL has abandoned it in RR 2.0 did you have kick out problems with stock strap?
@@smau990 wow! No way! Thats insane. I use the ratchet because I felt like the original starp wouldn't get tight enough. There was a couple times it start sliding down the tree. But once I put the ratchet strap on it stayed in place. Haven't expierenced a kick out of any sorts

Well if you do that the rest will never be square. 1. If you eyeball it in relation to the cam and riser then you will be approximately 3mm off. Due to the fact that the cams are NOT perfectly lined up with the riser. 2nd the arrow should be 1/3 higher than the berger hole. Not perfectly centered….
To each their own however out of the 1000s of bows that I've tuned ive never had one that we've made the arrow 1/3 above the berger hole.. always right thru the center of it.

What is the rubber part on the shelf?
It prevents the arrow from making a "tinging" sound. Called a launch pad
I used 1mm cork tape on the shelf, very quiet and arrow never touches the riser.
So 11 months after the video, is the paint still holding up well due to the primer and finish?
